With this I can control the air flow very well. I've noticed that it shuts off in one direction, but if you go the other direction with enough RPM it shuts off the air as well because I think it's letting air through the stick. In fact, several were sent together. I've only used two of these, but it's definitely helped with the tanks I use them in.
