I bought this kit to use with a HTPC (Home Theater PC) on a 4K UHD home theater so I could stay in my seat and still be on can navigate my Windows PC. This combination is perfect for this application and installing the Nano 2.4GHz wireless receiver is a breeze. At the time of writing, most keyboard/mouse combos have Bluetooth and are unstable, unfortunately Bluetooth just isn't reliable when it's constantly being paired and disconnected. The 2.4GHz wireless nano receiver plugs into a USB port and the connection works every time. The keyboard is designed for multiple modalities such as Windows, IOS, Mac OSX or even Android. In my testing, I ran the Microsoft Windows 10 Pro connection as a standalone HTPC and was very impressed, especially at such a low price point. The keys are very responsive and the typing feel is excellent; strong resemblance to old mechanical keyboards from the 1990s.
