Terrible product. The thick plastic buttons are TERRIBLE. Both my daughter and I worked hard to open them and, no kidding, hurt our hands trying to pry them apart. We had to learn it but no, we put it on my grandson and then we could undo the latches AGAIN. In order not to hurt our hands or worse, to prevent our hands from slipping and then hitting the child, we were about to cut off his clothes when we managed to tear them. We were least concerned about fabric tears; But since the fabric is thin and stretchy and the fasteners are industrial grade, it will eventually happen. I am size L, the size chart on the label says L is 12-18 months / 23.5-26.5 pounds / 31-33 inches. However, it barely fits my 5 month old 18 lb grandson. Cheap terrible product. I absolutely do not recommend it.
