Nothing for the bathroom - bath mats

Looks nice When I put the "bath rug" next to my bathtub, I do justice to its appearance. However, the look of the rug is the last thing I care about in a bath rug. There are 3 main disadvantages that make it a bad choice for your bathroom. First, the mat itself is slippery, it doesn't stay in place. Non-slip material on the bottom won't hold up. My guess is that the silicone/rubber underneath isn't thick enough and due to the light, cheap material it slides freely on the floor. Second, the rug doesn't have much padding, in fact there is almost none. When you step out of the bath or shower, you want to step onto something soft and comfortable. This mat will not bring you that kind of experience. With lightweight chenille and no padding, I feel like stepping on a hard floor with my cold and slippery bath towel. Finally, chenille is dollar shop quality. There is no label to indicate the material it is made of and it seems to stick to dust easily and is not washable. To be honest I would not recommend people to buy this item as a bath rug or for any other purpose. It is dangerous to put it in the bathroom as it could slip and you could fall. I'm sending it back to Revane. Buy branded items at your local discount store or of course at Revain. You can easily find a higher quality product for a similar price.
