First, while I hate the word "sneakers," I doubt anyone would consider this shoe to be exactly that. no sir Sneakers are what most of us think of as either sneakers or trainers. These are walking/hiking shoes. Since these are children's boots, the quick lacing system in combination with the Velcro fastener makes "do it yourself" child's play. The rubber outsole and waterproof upper (not waterproof) allow the wearer to follow you over hills and valleys and most other places. A splash of orange looks good too and we all know how fashion conscious even the youngest members of the family are these days. (There's also a black version, which isn't as aesthetically pleasing.) They may seem expensive, but the brand is a quality product so they'll last.
