I think it's EXCELLENT. I like the bed and I think it's good value for money. It's advertised as non-slip because the height of the side rails is such that the mattress "fits" and doesn't slide off the frame. It is great. It was easy to put together and I love the headboard. I have a TUFF AND NEEDLE foam mattress and I think it would be nice if the boning was about 1/4 inch higher for a more snug fit on this type of mattress. Again I entered 1/4 inch. took a piece of plywood left over from an old bed and put it on top of the "rails" and this took the height of the rails down a bit. Maybe it's good how it's done. I also like that the center legs are firmly reinforced/connected to the frame. I'm sure this will prevent the center legs from being destroyed. The mattress fits well, but I doubt I would have liked it much better if that slat was taller, and the addition of 1/4" thick plywood would have been considered. And to complement the bed, I have a piece of an old one Beds (3/4" x 14" x 40") (Ameriwood) used to make an actual headboard. I drilled a hole in the corners and used zip ties to attach them to the posts as a headboard (the pillow doesn't slip through the headboard rails). You don't really need it, but you add something. I could have secured it with a couple of screws but prefer the zip ties. As such, this is a great purchase that will be with you for years to come.
