I ordered black on average. I usually wear medium or size 8 to 10. It was too small. I was able to zip it up, but it was too tight everywhere. For example through the chest and I'm 34DD. The cutout on the back fits well. Fits well just after the waist. It is specially designed for women with a high short waist. I changed it to a big one. Wow. The size difference between medium and large is huge. It's like I've grown from small to very large. On average, the sleeves touched me right at the wrist, and on the big one it went past my fingertips. The large one's waist went from my waist to my hips. This is very bad because it is a nice winter wool coat. Style that will carry you through the years.
