Fake laces, very loose around the waist.
It's better to have a sewing machine because the waist is too big and the laces are WRONG! So your skinny kid won't be able to hold up pants unless you know how to sew darts. After I sewed the darts on, my daughter said they were very comfortable.
- Functional pockets for extra carrying. Ribbed cuffs at the bottom keep cold air out on cold days.
