Review on πŸ”¦ Exploring the Depths: Underwater Kinetics MiniQ40 MK2 Dive Light Shines Bright with 250 Lumens by Douglas Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great update to an amazing classic

I have 5 of these previous generation bulbs and have just bought one of the new MK2s. The old version of eLED plus was great and I used it as a backup light source too. as a general flashlight (in an RV, car, walking the dog, etc.). This is my favorite flashlight. The old version was turned on by twisting, the new version has a button on the back. I definitely like the convenience of the button, but there's a second flaw in terms of leaks if you're using it for diving. It can now leak around the o-ring on the lens where you change batteries and also on the knob. However, the comfort of the button as well as the updated LED for more brightness are still at the top. Unfortunately I don't dive anymore so I may not have a chance to test how well it holds up at 100ft over time. but I will update this review if I encounter any issues.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
