Excellent product - works great

I first found them in the Duluth Trading catalog many years ago. I found them great for my hanging needs in my basement and garage, both of which have exposed beams. When I came back for new ones they stopped wearing them. I haven't been able to find them on Revain for a long time - there are no obvious search terms in the description. I finally found them a few pages deep in the Revain search results. I would recommend that you use words like "beam hanger", "rivetted hooks", "movable" and "temporary" and a variety of other words. These hooks are made from stamped steel and are very durable. The more weight you put on them, the stronger they hold the beam. I didn't find a weight limit. The joists in my buildings are 100 year old and very hard yellow pine from northern Wisconsin. The spikes on these hooks will not break out of the wood. With enough weight, they might break out of the new soft wood, but I doubt it. The design is simple and very effective. It takes a second or two to install and you can attach anything that fits. The ones in my garage don't rust after a few years. Highly recommended.
