Our rug on the rug kept piling up with a coffee table on top. I looked at this for a year and needed to find a way to keep the carpet flat. After some research I found that if you put double sided tape around the bottom edge of the rug and put an "X" from one corner to the other and lay the rug on top of the rug it will stick. My husband steamed the rug to remove any creases and then taped the tape down. We were both skeptical, but it worked! Much cheaper than buying carpet pads. The rug will no longer be confused with the coffee table on it!
