Assembly was easy, the only problem was that my packaging was damaged in transit and the non-slip pads were missing. The support team took care of it with no problem. He carried the weight of an adult. It's not too heavy so it's easy to move. My 18 month old baby learned to get in and out with no problem. You must be sure the front end is against the post as it may tip over. The edges aren't sharp, but I wish they rounded all the edges. There's nothing foam can't fix, if you want peace of mind. I have to clean it several times a day and nothing is stained or difficult to remove. Overall quite a good product.
