After demonstrating this machine I had another artist at my shop telling me I had bought a cheap machine and my tattoos would suffer. I'm sick of the arrogance and selfishness in this business. This machine works great! I could run it like this, but changed the springs based on personal preference. Some "artists," and I use the term loosely, think that they can shell out $800 for two workhorse irons and they'll be a tattoo god in no time! The artist creates a machine, not an artist's machine. I have used Workhorse irons in the past and they are quality machines. But I can get very similar results with this machine. It's about experience, the right setup and your skills. Just because you drive a Ferrari doesn't make you a great driver. Of course, this is something to brag about and maybe make up for what's missing. The artist I tutored built all of his machines for less than $40 and produced better work than the most expensive machines available at the time. don't hit hard. Maybe you should look in the mirror and ask yourself if it's the car or lack of experience. This is a quality machine at an incredible price. You can't go wrong with this purchase and if someone tries to talk nonsense, just show them your work. Let this speak for itself. Bring me any newbie with $500 cars and I'll blow their ass out of the water with this $7 car. Stop blaming the machine for lack of talent. This isn't aimed at anyone who has left comments here, it's just my opinion on this industry in general.
