Exactly like the picture and exactly how it should be. I would like to address some of the reviews that mention 1. "It's small" - the description actually says it's small. 2. "He didn't keep the punch" - this is actually a string pinata. You probably still CAN beat it the traditional way, BUT you can't complain about it being done wrong. It's designed so you pull the strings and just don't know which one will make it open. One of the reasons for this alternative piñata is that it's not allowed to be hit in kindergartens. They didn't even have an object to hit with. Kindergartens are very strict about any kind of violence, also in relation to the issue. This piñata was perfect for my son's preschool as it specifically said only pull ropes are allowed.
