I guess I didn't read the product description carefully enough. The item name is "Grip-EZ" and the product features are: NON-SLIP, soft grip and raised sides. Because of all of this, I realized that the cutting board will "stick/not slide" on the work surface. It is not. To keep your chopping board from slipping when cutting/slicing, place your own "non-slip" mat underneath. Very disappointing. The "non-slip" feature really extends to the black portion of the cutting board handle. I would have liked a non-slip coating on the bottom. It's a little smaller than I imagined. The "ladle" shape is a nice feature as it doesn't spill juice etc. I only leave them for the scoop shape and the ability to easily add chopped food to the pan.
