This winter I was a victim of circumstances. Due to bad timing, my furance doesn't count for the winter. I liked the model just below it, so I sort of ordered an upgrade. It worked great at first, but I think the computer chip inside gets messed up sometimes. The system appears to have switched from Fahrenheit to Celsius. I was disappointed, but after a few days everything was back to normal. There are also instructions on how to "reset" the heater and even a hotline. But being older and having seen a lot, I just waited and like I said, reading is back to normal. I sleep in the same room; I have both Vornado heaters on, one for the whole room and one that is legally pointed at me from 3ft but running on LOW power and a low Fran setting. This keeps the room from overheating and keeps me comfortably warm all night.
