Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in AT&T Cloud Silver, 128GB Storage by Vinay Ahuja ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

I am writing a review on the 3rd day of use. Before that, at first I sat tightly on HTC, then iPhone 5, iPhone 6, and now it's time to buy a smartphone for 2 Sims. T to iPhone xs max 2 sim at the time of my purchase, laptop 9 cost at least 83,000, and laptop 9 - 51,000. That choice fell on Samsung. I also considered Huawei mate 10 and laptop 8. Compared to the Note 8, the 9 has more battery, and compared to the Huawei, the Note 9 has a stylus. After 5 years of continuous use of the iPhone, it is difficult to switch to android and a certain amount in my nerve cells has already been spent in connection with this. But if you remember how I switched from HTC to iPhone 5, then the situation was identical. Because of this, I tried to write as objectively as possible. I do not regret my choice and I think that this smart is worth the money spent. I will add a review later. In the meantime, I put the laptop 9 five points, because I don’t see worthy competitors in my price category (if you don’t take it from the officials).

Pros
  • 1 autonomy. When using the phone in the mode of calls, messengers, camera, navigator, browser, music, YouTube, notes, it can last 1-1.5 days. Cold is not afraid. 2. Build quality. Does not creak, the gaps are minimal, pressing the buttons clearly and without elevators. There is not enough all-metal case, but they are not made now. 3. The presence of a stylus. Its presence did not affect the dimensions, but added advantages over competitors. 4. The presence of a 3.5 mm headphone jack. 5. Sound quality. Having 2 speakers. Compared to the iPhone 6, the sound is louder, the quality is slightly better. 6. Intelligent search for contacts through t9 and other advantages of androyd. 7. 6GB Ram and Speed work. It suits me, so far I have never set foot. I don't play games on my phone. 8. Availability to disable geodata 9. I think there will be later. I use the phone for 3 days
Cons
  • 1. Screen. I can not get used to / set the brightness. It feels like I'm holding a monitor/TV in my hands. The eyes are tired. The iPhone 6 is much more comfortable. I did not set anything up there, everything was OK on the standard ones. 2. Bixby button. Maybe I just didn't get it. But I don't think I will and won't. I hope Samsung or the craftsmen find a way to change its function or turn it off. For those who are considering note9 for purchase and do not understand why it infuriates everyone, I will say. This button is located under the volume control button, that is, it is even more accessible, and you constantly accidentally press it. 3. Children's Samsung icons and fonts. 4. Rounded screen edges. In my opinion, this design makes the bodies more vulnerable when falling. 5. Since this is the flagship from the largest smartphone manufacturer with a long history and its official price is not small, then the frames above and below could be made narrower. But these are quibbles. 6. Heavy 7. Sounds. Branded Notification Sounds need to be configured by yourself. There is still no branded good recognizable (by me) melody like the iPhone and Nokia on Samsung. 8. Perhaps later there will be. I use only 3 days. 9. Many settings are intuitively difficult to find, let's say I didn't find how to create a folder. How to enter your topics is also a mystery.
