After reading the reviews I was skeptical but I needed a bag of this shape, size and color so I gave it a try. .When I opened it I found a leather case wrapped in a plastic bag - no mold or odor as others have noted. The inside of the bag was damp (like it had spent time in a damp truck) so I stuffed it with newspapers and left it overnight. The next morning I treated it with a product called Leather Honey. Now you should see this gorgeous bag. . With a little TLC it looks very expensive. The stitching around the edges is very good, but I noticed that the straps aren't sewn on as tightly as in the Revain photo. The lining is very soft - love it - so it doesn't scratch my hand every time I reach into it. And the pockets and all the zippers work well for my needs. I expect this bag to last me a long time and I'm so glad I ordered it. Check!
