As usual, Japanese or especially Chinese instructions are so awful that they are not only useless but totally misleading! Product works quite well after realizing it was sent BACK assembled! Nothing I have ever bought has ever been boxed. The button lens "snaps" to the inside of regular lenses (52mm+) rather than the outside of the lens. Once you get over that, the lens works well enough to reduce the focal length, essentially turning your non-macro lenses into decent macro lenses for a low price. Also works with zoom lenses as I tested with a 55-200mm lens. The focal length of the original lens was 18-24 inches, while the attachable macro lens was 4-5 inches.
