Review on πŸ”ͺ Professional Stainless Steel Kitchen Chef Knife Sharpener with Abrasive Holding System – Home Knife Sharpening Kit including 10 Whetstones by Morgan Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mixed bag when unpacking. UPDATE

After repeated attempts to "zero" the blade holder by hand, the item returns. On the first side, the angle is 10 degrees. When flipped to the other side, the angle changes by 18 degrees. Great concept, terrible execution. The equipment is convincing for the price. The stones are rather questionable. ) made of Raksin stones. The remaining six (6) are unbranded. Only unbranded stones were set on sockets that fit the holder and of these two (2) they were completely detached with one soon coming loose. The bricks are attached to the plastic bases with three dots of glue. This makes the stones more likely to come loose with use. The four Ruxin bricks come without a stand and so cannot be used with the system until I have stands for them. First I contacted the seller. The knife holder is on the right 2 degrees below level, although the surface I mounted the device on shows the level. The hardware is NOT all stainless steel as stated in the description. The critical pivot point, which must provide 100% accuracy when rotating the knife, is aluminum and is likely to have significant play in use. And most annoyingly, many of the instructions are outright plagiarisms from the Edge Pro Apex manual. Shameless IP theft. I will update after I sharpen some knives.
