Claimed speed of 1+ GB per second. LOL, barley does 20-60MB per second (my internet is 100 down and 20 up). My 5 year old Linksys was lagging and also had AC but from my bedroom to living room the Oled TV internet was lagging along with 4k Chrome Casting. So I tried a Belkin 1900 dual-band router with at least 600 Mbps. maximum 1.3 GB per second. NO! max varies between 65 Mbps and 92 and should be 100 Mbps! around 16 to 18 so decent not great (or better as the router claims) i would say $35 is fine for less than 1000 sq ft but you still don't get top internet speed. This outperforms Linksys, but only by about 5-7 megabytes per second. I expected it to be able to handle 100Mbps on AC with no problem, heck even on N they claim 600Mbps, but no. I have a great Linksys modem that I bought here with a 24x8 channel so it made a difference but this router was a huge disappointment to me. I just don't know what to replace it with, but it costs less than $80 and has the same or similar requirements.
