Update January 21, 2018 I still love this cage! I modified it heavily and used the elevation to create levels with an access ramp. Watch the video I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this cage! The only thing that would be better would be to build a C&C cage which I don't have room for. The size of this cage is PERFECT for my two guinea pigs who have room to run! They are too small to use a shelf so I use it to cover it with fleece to keep the pigs warm inside. It's easy to lift to check the pigs if needed. I will use the height of the cage for the platforms as they get bigger (they are babies now). Cell Instructions. I understand why people say the instructions are confusing, but it was pretty easy for me to figure out. The frustrating part for me was lifting all sides of the cage so none of the sides would fall off. was pretty weird for a few minutes! Everything seems very solid and safe. My dogs are very interested when they move or squeak, push the cage and everything is fine. The hay rack doesn't fit me. I will sew them a hay sack. It's just dirty and doesn't fit the side wall of the cage well enough to hold all the hay. The water bottle is a complete piece of junk and I suggest you either just use the bottle or make sure you can build something to hold it on the ground. Cage or just buy a bottle that works better (I have!). I ended up buying a cheap coffee table here at Revain that was a similar size and used industrial velcro on the bottom of the cage to attach it to the coffee table top and added casters so I could roll the cage as needed. I highly recommend this cage to anyone looking for a home for their pet!
