I bought this to cover the back seat of a Cadillac ATS. This works pretty well but doesn't form a complete U shape like in the picture. This will definitely protect the seats, but you may not get enough protection between the front and back seats if your dog likes to move around. I have a 60lb GSD/Lab 1 year old mix that likes to bounce around and freezes at times. If you're looking for something that can be dog, claw and liquid resistant then this is fine - just make sure you tighten it as much as possible to get a U shape. Otherwise you might end up with dog poop on the back carpet, which isn't much fun! UPDATE 7/2017: DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE LIGHT LEATHER SEATS! I don't know if that was just a function of the lid or a combination of the lid and heat, but the little rubber tabs on the back that are supposed to keep the lid from sliding left lots and lots of little black dots. all over my skin (see photo). And worse, I couldn't take them off. Water, leather cleaner, other liquids are useless; The only dent so far is polishing paste, and then just a little bit. Nothing could completely erase the traces. I bought this cover to protect my leather seats and not otherwise damage them.
