I have replaced some screens and batteries on my iPhones. Disassembly is no problem for me. I recently had to replace a broken screen. When I received this screen I had some concerns. It was packed in a very thin box with a layer of very thin bubble wrap. What bothered me was that it came in white bubble wrap which looked like it had been dropped. The problem is not with the sellers, but with the delivery. Holding my breath, I opened the package and found everything was safe and sound. All the tools to replace the screen are included, except for a hair dryer to heat up and break the seal. I removed my old display and replaced it with a new one. Simple process for me. When I booted up the phone, it said Touch ID could not be activated. I've read that this is a common problem with aftermarket screens. That didn't bother me as I don't use Touch ID. It just pops up every time I need to restart my phone for some reason. Another small issue is that some colors wash out. Especially the red ones. However, this is not a big problem for me. Another minor issue I've encountered is related to the Otter Box's touchscreen. It worked great with my old screen. After replacement, there were problems with the sensor. To solve my problem, I removed the protective film from the Otter Box and replaced it with a tempered glass protective film. Now it works great. Overall this is a great aftermarket screen. To update. The home button cracked a few days after installation. Almost all of the black plastic fell out. I actually had to pull a piece out of my thumb. The cursor jumps all over the screen. Continue the exchange. Update to update. The new screen came quickly. The screen has been replaced. A week later the home button broke again. At least until everything is in place. I pulled the home button out of my old broken screen to paste this.
