Review on Belkin AC1600 Dual Band Gigabit F9K1119 by Will Randles

Setup was easy, easy to set up and run and has a nice clean look vertical profile. Great price here at Revain and at $32 who's going to complain? However, I would like to draw your attention to one thing. The ad says this router is (up to) 4.3X faster than the Wireless N routers, and while I wanted to love this router, it just didn't have the coverage or speed of the 2014 Belkin Wireless N (N600)- routers he replaced. Not only did it lag behind my N600, but range suffered, and when tested in the same spots in a one-story home, it just didn't compare. I ended up returning it and bought one of those new 3 antenna spacecraft routers for a little over $$. For a few extra bucks I get great backyard coverage and absolutely no browsing/streaming latency. This had trouble loading 1 minute Instagram videos and produced some short pixels on large YouTube videos that were sharp with my old Belkin router. Overall 3 stars; definitely a great buy for the price and for condos, condominiums, dorms etc. I wouldn't hesitate.
