Orange (backlit) harness connected to Sony XAV orange/white (dimmer) but when headlights are on the GU does not dim. Some studies state that the lighting and dimmer pins on the subway wiring harness should be swapped. Add to review /// Warning /// To do this If you're expecting auto dimming, you can pull out the orange pin and plug it into the other side of the connector. Then connect the orange wire to the dimmer wire on the HU. The wiring harness (dnF) from xbay has 1 orange backlight and 1 orange/white dimmer. When the dimmer cable is connected, the HU will be dimmed automatically.
