I have a Rabbit hand vacuum pump. It worked well initially, pumping the air out of my wine bottles and keeping my wine fresh. After a few years he began to fail. The Jamber hand vacuum pump was a real find. The pump is easy to use and quickly empties the wine bottle. I know that when I remove the cork again, the air was evacuated by the popping of the bottle. This gift set includes a vacuum pump, six bottle caps, a foil cutter and an aerator. Each item works well, neatly packaged and stored in a compartmented plastic tray in a sturdy cardboard box, ready for gift wrapping. The Jamber hand vacuum pump works well with the two bottle caps that come with my rabbit hand vacuum pump. I'm glad I didn't throw them away. I like that Jamber bottle caps are short and not tall. This allows me to easily store wine bottles in the fridge. The foil cutter is sharp and does a great job removing foil. The aerator fits easily into my wine bottles and adds a touch of elegance as I slowly pour the wine. In all honesty, this will probably be the least used item in the gift box. I definitely need everything else. I'm the only one who drinks wine in my house and I'll drink a bottle until it's empty no matter how many days it's been in the fridge. So I don't really need the rotating date rings that bottle caps have. They didn't have my rabbit bottle tops. They can be useful to other users. All in all I have been using the Jamber vacuum pump for almost three weeks and am very happy with it. I would highly recommend it to any wine lover looking for a good hand vacuum pump. It will be the most beautiful gift in any season. It is very beautiful, stylish, functional, practical and affordable.
