My daughter is 14 years old, has very long hair (to the point of fullness) and is an active 5 sport enthusiast, so hair ties are a must. "An integral part" are hair ties, especially those made of velvet. I bought several others here at Revain and they were too small for her thick hair mass. You are perfect! The variety of colors really looks like a rainbow, I don't think they were exactly the same. I only counted them because others mentioned it and I had 54 exactly as described. I loved them so much and the price was so good that I ordered a second set as they have been known to get lost (daughters fault, not scrunchies!). I will buy another set and include one in a Christmas gift bag for all her classmates. The price is amazing! By the way, none are torn, so the quality is reliable, although I can feel the "tie" of the elastic under the velvet, I can see one or more coming loose over time, but honestly for the price who can to complain when some do. Be happy and enjoy them!
