On the one hand this is a really good strong collar for its price but on the other hand it's HUGE. I used the size chart and ordered "Medium" but I think they sent me "Large" because I measured it and it fits. I have to send it back as there was no way to get it to work (it would be too big even if I drilled a new hole). Please note this collar is 2 inches wide! I can't imagine it would fit my dog even if it was the right size because it's REALLY WIDE. While this is really good for the price, it may not be suitable for all breeds. My dog is a terrier lab mix and she is on the smaller side of average when it comes to dogs. It would be cruel to force her to wear such a tight, wide collar! That doesn't suit her character. It's well made and good quality so depending on what type of dog you have it might be worth considering (I could see it working for an adult pit bull or something). I ended up having to buy a similar but thinner collar for my dog: the Didog Leather Studded & Spiked Collar for Small to Medium Dogs - Black 14-18 Inches.
