A special tool is required to remove the old unit for easy replacement.

Was an easy replacement but you will need a special screwdriver to remove the old unit. This is a 3 star screwdriver, not a Phillips screwdriver. I was able to remove it with a tiny flat head and a hammer by tapping on the side of the screw. The new block had a regular screw.
