This bottle seems to work perfectly. I have no way of testing the cleaning performance but the bottle works as expected. I fully charged the cap before use, then filled the bottle with tap water, screwed on the cap and pressed the button. Just a few minutes and the process is done. Unscrewing the cap during cleaning will stop the process as a precaution to avoid damaging your eyes with UV light. The bottle size is perfect. Enough to quench your thirst while optimizing space, and with the ability to clean on the go, it's big enough. The bottle neck is smooth and easy to drink. I usually smell a strong chlorine odor in my tap water, but after treatment, the odor is minimized. However, at home I prefer to filter my drinking water to remove heavy metals and other contaminants that aren't necessarily bacterial, but this bottle of Glo gives me peace of mind and cost savings when I'm on the go.
