I was very excited when the C stand came out. But after assembling everything and installing the flash and softbox on the handle. No matter how I had it, it still wouldn't support its weight on the handle. When I took it apart to see what was going on, I noticed that the inside of the gobo handle was completely smooth. That means it won't snag on a 40-inch extension. I was going to send it back but I needed it for the weekend so I took a dremel tool and tried to clean it and so far it's working. But since I know I changed it, I know I couldn't help but send it back. The stand itself is pretty solid, but when the handle is fully extended and waiting, the lower legs flex a bit. So I ordered a pair of gobo percussion grips that have nice hard teeth inside, now the grips are super easy without having to grip the gobo grip as tightly as possible. so do i recommend it? No, I would not recommend. Gobo handles are useless and you can find a cheaper stand c. All said and done, I invested $170 and could have bought Matthew's booth for that price. In the photos I show you you can see the difference between each gobo cartridge.
