I replaced a round upholstered round tray chair with this caterpillar seat. Even though it's unlined, it's still comfortable. The round upholstered seat on the old rolling stool wasn't that thick and was still hard at the end. I took the advice of another review and bought a cheap knee pad, if I need padding I don't need it yet. The trays are too small for most of the tools I use, but the 4 cup holders fit gumout cans, brake cleaner spray and brake fluid. The deeper center basket slides out and is handy for dropping bolts and screws in when removing. The wheels roll quietly and very smoothly, unlike the 2 inch wheels on the old rolling stool which didn't roll very well and were noisy. The square tube frame is sturdy and that makes this crawler seat easily worth the extra money. Be careful though, it can roll back from your work if you don't use the brakes.
