Despite the anti-rotation plate they created to soften the curve it's still a problem. Turning would be a lot worse without the plate, but still annoying. I tighten it with a large socket wrench all the time and can't think of a better way to fix it without welding it to the tongue/mounting point on the quad. I have a Yamaha Kodiak 400 no matter what the cost. I like the design of the product in general. This problem is difficult to solve and you may have to buy a separate towbar. All of my stingers are too long and hit the top of the bolt, so I either have to drill new holes for the locking pin, find a shorter one, cut off an inch, or just buy a special quad stinger with a beveled end to accommodate the bolt head ( Curt actually makes one with an attached 2" ball that comes with this receiver/tongue adapter that's shorter and angled so it works great).
