Review on πŸš— Eurow Sideless Sport Mesh Seat Cover - Tan, Set of 2 by Ken Arellano

This product is good be good except ratchet straps

I bought these seat covers a week ago. The cover is fastened with elastic straps with plastic fasteners. The rubber will soon come loose. There is no clamping mechanism. The entire seat upholstery then begins to move. Also if one of the prongs on the plastic clasps breaks (many bad experiences with that) it will need to be replaced by re-attaching a new clasp. A smarter design might have been to have some pant-style belt loops on the sides of the seat cover. Straps could be threaded through them to tighten and secure with Velcro or a plastic buckle. This arrangement is likely to accommodate most seating styles and airbag deployment in an emergency. With the current design, the hardest part is getting under the car seat and attaching the elastic straps with the included hooks. These hooks are useless. You will not be blocked as you would naturally expect. They cannot be attached to the underside of the car seat on a piece of metal (as suggested by customer service) as they do not exist. There are also many wires, sharp edges and narrow places. Again, pant-style loops around the edges of the seat cover and strap-like straps might work better. The current attachment points of the rubber bands look fragile. Some of the stitching on the top of the seat was rough due to protruding threads. On the plus side, the product looks and style is pretty good. You just need a better design and quality of attachment. The challenge for the Eurow.com VP is to install some of these in his own modern cars and (i) see if they make it in 10-15 minutes and (ii) if they last in their cars. I don't see them enjoying their own kitchen in this current design.
