Numerical values as well as physical representations for more learning styles

People learn in many different ways. And if you're old enough to order from Revain, you're well past the age of learning two things. Just as you try to remember what it was like not being able to read, you probably don't remember what it was like not knowing what it was. Two things, the number 2. Is it always the same? This shows you that it is. For kids who have trouble with conceptual ideas, this is a great tool. When my child was little, we realized that he didn't naturally understand that a written number always corresponds to the same physical quantity. Because two things and the number "2" look very different. For example, here are two cupcakes = "2". Whether the cupcake is green, blue, or pink, two cupcakes = "2". Such a toy could help fill that gap. Now I can help my grandchildren with this concept. Two cupcakes on the same side of the scale weigh as much as the number 2. Two cupcakes and the number 1 weigh as much as the number 3 AND as much as three cupcakes. I would like to see a version of this where there are other objects (glass of milk, cake, whatever) so the child can see that '2' of something remains '2' and the objects aren't those need same type, but it's a very good start.
