On the vq37vhr this causes a significant drop in oil pressure. I went from 70 at 3000 rpm to 44psi at 3000. Flow through the radiator. at 70 degrees never came close to the opening/closing temperature of the sandwich panels. It should be closed until the temperature reaches 180. My temp has never exceeded 165 which indicates the oil is always flowing through the radiator. it looks like a well made plate. It just doesn't go well with a VQ, oil pressure drop is also a scary thing for a high performance build. I'm boosted at 12psi, so lubrication issues are a real concern.
