Hello! I was glad they are nylon. The fit is very tight and doesn't leave much room to pack. I noticed that they were very uncomfortable in the seat, and then I noticed that it was because there was a lot of extra padding accumulating in the back. Looking at them in the mirror, I noticed that the excess lining was showing underneath the shorts, which wasn't very flattering. I have cut and removed the balaclava, the shorts fit and feel much more comfortable. I had never heard of this brand so I took a chance ordering it but I probably won't buy it again.
