I bought Susan Bates 15111 Crystalites Acrylic 10" Knitting Needles for two reasons. I wanted to try smaller needle lengths to see if they were more comfortable to use when knitting something small. Also, I wanted to try acrylic needles to see how they perform when I use a certain weight of yarn (particularly lighter than worsted). Just bought it so haven't used it for the project yet except to cast on and knit a few rows to start the scarf (alpaca, linen and silk blend). As long as I like them. They are light. They are a bit pointed, which I think will come in handy with some yarns. i like the length I am sure that they are suitable for beginner knitters. The sizes in this set are 8, 9, 10 and 10 1/2 US. If these acrylic needles came in sizes 4, 5, 6, and 7 I would buy them. They were made in Mexico. The delivery went smoothly.
