Update #2 A: When I finally got a response from Sabrent customer service, they sent two more cables and I'm not sure how that's possible, but those two cables didn't work right away?! They failed the same way, that is, loose or unreliable connections were lost at the slightest movement of the cable. It's 4 vs 4 guys and I have nothing against the company. I've used many generic and major brand cables before and since (including Sabrent in the past so something must have changed) with the same gear and have never remotely encountered anything like this. Anyway, wow. I think I'm done with this brand. Update: two of the two cables are defective, the second after being plugged in twice. I'm still waiting for a response from a Sabrent representative. One of the two failed in a very short time. Internal wires will loosen (connect by wiggling) after about 5 insertion/removal cycles. I saw several posts about this but decided to ignore them. quality control? They look really nice and bold and the charts are nifty but obviously can be unreliable. If you have one of these, make sure you test it several times in different positions before going live.
