If you're in doubt about needing this, just buy it now. I had a hard to reach and secure attachment to the outboard motor jack plate that was stuck. I tried a similar tool from an unnamed local auto parts store and couldn't clean the fitting. This rejuvenator features an O-ring system that keeps the air/liquid tight during operation. Following the instructions for the letter "T" I filled it 3 in 1 and disconnected the fitting on the FIRST try. Now I have an oiled and happy Jack Plate to fish with again.
