They were so easy to install I couldn't ask for a better experience. I took a sheet of paper to measure the size of the window as I used it for 9 small windows in my front door. We used to have blinds but they made the room much darker. The use of frosted film makes the room more elegant, allows light to pass through, and preserves privacy. I made sure to clean the window beforehand and used lots of water to install it. Honestly, don't skimp on the water. The worst that can happen is that you have to dry it afterwards. If you're looking for a smooth installation with no edges or bubbles, water is key. I used a credit card to gently squeeze out bubbles and also as a stop for my X-Acto knife when trimming the edges. Looks like my windows came this way. One roll was enough for me to make 9-12" x 6" and 1-17" x 9" windows.
