Unreliable for outdoor lighting
Although the blue lights are very pretty when they work, my experience is that they don't even last an entire holiday season. I used four of these blue light kits on my porch this past holiday season. After about two weeks, many bulbs stopped working (nearly half the bulbs on three of the four strings stopped working). This holiday season I bought two packs to replace the ones that stopped working last year. However, in one of the packages that just arrived, about 10 bulbs are not lit. It is a pity that these lamps are not durable. The lamps are really nice, but I'm not sure if it's worth buying new ones that often.
