I always look for Tribeca Living bedding because of the very deep fit, adjustable bed frames and thicker mattresses these days require very deep pockets. When the frame is at rest with the head and knees bent, the shortened pocket sheets can fly right out of the corners with a sudden, almost sharp CLICK. I find 800 TC to be the perfect summer sheet, not only comfortably soft but firmer and crispier which is nice on hot days and subsequent nights. They aren't too heavy either, they feel light when placed on you so you can be covered and not feel heavy. It may sound harsh, but it's true that most adults sweat while they sleep, and pure cotton sheets are always better for comfort, breathability, and also for quick drying when the sweat is heavier. I feel nothing but 100% cotton against bare skin when I crawl into my bed - no microfiber (no matter how soft) will work. In winter I can wear flannel, that's all. cotton, flannel. Old school wins.
