Clumps well, dust-free, odor-binding, expensive and not suitable for fussy cats

I was conflicted about my review of this litter. While this is a great filler, the downsides are such that I won't be buying it again. Other than that, it works very well. It doesn't generate dust and holds together phenomenally. It also does a good job of reducing odor without the strong odor of flavored fillers. My main cons are that it's expensive, hard to scoop, and doesn't like fussy cats. I have an elderly cat who is very picky about her litter box but refused to use it as it is so different from a traditional litter box. I didn't include this significantly in my ranking because cats are finicky, but it's something I was keen to include if you also have a cat who is finicky about their litter box. As for scooping, it's quite difficult. Scoop with a traditional toilet scoop. Longer pieces don't filter as well as the grainy texture of traditional litter, so while it's excellent at clumping, you end up throwing away the same amount of litter because of this problem. My last minus is the main reason. I lowered one star from four to three stars. It's very expensive for a litter box. At $54.99 for Β£20, it's prohibitively expensive for my multi-cat family. I understand it's expensive because it's imported but that's a serious issue I have to give it one star. In general, this litter works very well. It doesn't dust, clumps well and effectively reduces odors. However, since it is difficult to scoop, prohibitively expensive and repels picky cats, I gave it three stars. If the price were lowered I would probably rate it a four.
