Review on Westcott Safety Knife (16475) with Slice Ceramic Blades by Ryan Thrasher

I have just received three of these knives. There is NO way to ensure the blade stays outside of the device. it is not easy to use. This makes this very good tool a two-step process, which is why I only gave it a 2-star rating. You must hold the blade in place to use it and complete the task. Customer service with Westcott is poor. When I inquired they said it was a security measure. it makes no sense. The blade itself is a security measure. it will not cut the skin easily, if at all. (I haven't tested it for strength, but I've never cut myself). So the retractable blade is a design flaw in my opinion. Westcott didn't seem to care. I would rate this with one star.
