First, they are very bright and beautiful. I bought their white light version and am not disappointed at all. Although I've used them for makeshift AC powered flashlights, I haven't used them in a long time. The ones I used put out a lot of light, even more than the emergency flashlight I have. Although the LEDs do get a bit warm, I've never experienced anything to be concerned about. If I were going to be using them for a long period of time I would want to make sure they were installed properly and away from flammable objects just to be on the safe side. I've used them with portable power supplies, emergency power stations, and even regular cell phone adapters. As for the phone adapters, the only problem I found was that they light up after half a second, which I found odd. On portable power sources and power plants, they work instantly. If you're looking for affordable, versatile USB LED bulbs, look no further.
