This indicates that it is designed for sanding between layers. This makes it better than any other sandpaper I've tried. It seems to last 4-5 times longer than the cheaper brand. twice as fast as others I've used and continues to cut without clogging. Although it cuts very quickly, it's still 320 grit so you won't get any deeper scratches. I don't know how it is with other types of grinding. I'll save it between layers as it says.
