Review on Arteza Inkonic Fineliners Set of 72: Fine Tip Markers with Color Numbers, 0.4mm Tips & Brilliant Assorted Colors by Lori Aguirre

Leaking Scratching Pens

I was shocked at the poor quality of these Arteza fine point markers. I thought Arteza was a high quality brand. Worst first: A few pins leaked. The ink was not washed off hands with soap and water. I really wanted to like them because I need a fine point pen. It is difficult to control the flow of ink in these markers. If you try to fill a gap, the edges will become saturated and bleed through. The finished look isn't a flat solid color, but variable intensity and saturation. I couldn't get any light or faded color effect. If I hesitate, the ink quickly spreads across the paper and crosses the lines. Some tips are uneven, scratch the paper instead of applying color, and even cause small tears in the paper. Some colors are duplicated. There are no labels on handles or lids. The cover sheet color does not match the ink color. This makes it very difficult to define a color palette for a project. The box arrived crumpled but the leaking handles were not just in the dent area but throughout the set.
