Good damper for the money. They work as intended. I replaced all of the stock threaded shock mounting bolts with grade 8 shoulder bolts and coated them with anti-seize paste. One of the old bolts got caught in the shock bushing and I had to drag it off the truck. I live in California so rust is not an issue here. First, GM should have used shoulder bolts. A simple purchase from Lowes Auto Parts is only Grade 5 all-threaded OEM design. I recommend switching to class 8 smooth ribbed screws. Don't forget the anti-seize compound.
